The continuation of a capsule
collection designed for shoe lovers
and interior design addicts.
Aquazzura and de Gournay introduces
their second collaboration featuring the
new ‘Amazonia’ Chinoiserie design and
colorway.
Following the original, hand painted
pink interpretation, the motif designed
by Edgardo Osorio, creative director of
Aquazzura, is now rendered in a striking
blue colour, beautifully paired with its
exotic subject.
Referencing various existing wallpapers,
the design is inspired by luxuriant
garden scene featured in many Chinese
painted papers throughout the 18th
century, combined with exotic elements
typical of the eclectic vision of Edgardo
Osorio and his mastery of decorative
details. The resulting jungle features a
dazzling array of flowers and animals
such as palms and banana leaf plants,
toucans, parrots and macaws.
Conceived as a contemporary model of
traditional 18th century designs, the
tropical scene is once again the ultimate

motif to enhance Aquazzura’s exquisite
range of six individual women’s
‘Amazonia’ shoe styles: the All Tied Up
Sandal 105, the Pump 45, the Loafer, the
Sneaker, the Love Tassel Flat and the
Slide.
The capsule collection also includes
three Aquazzura Mini ‘Amazonia’ styles,
providing babies and young girls with
precious additions to their wardrobe. d
