Rockwell Reverse

Our inspiration was Norman Rockwell's "The Problem We All Live With". We tried to show that blacks and whites are equal and also deserve what everyone else deserves. In our art piece, we reversed the characters to be a white girl on her way to school having to be escorted by black men. We wanted people to think about the role reversal.

We did enjoy this project. We think if we had more time it would have been better; giving us time to "polish" up our piece. As a group, we would change how we designed their heads and how the sewing turned out. Canvas, acrylic paint, fabric collage
