Freedom Dance

By Mackenzie M.

I am a dancer and I believe that dancing is my personal freedom. It is something anyone can do and it makes me feel like I'm in a whole other world.

I dyed my fabric, cut it out, glued the dancer figure onto the other piece of fabric, and then I painted the words onto the fabric.

I tie-dyed the fabric with ink and then painted with acrylic. Fabric, rubber bands, ink, and black acrylic paint

Sunrise for Freedom

By Madison W.

My artwork is about equality and the importance of respect. The two silhouettes represent the anonymous human being, meaning that no matter who you are or what you look like, everyone is equal to one another.

The quote in the middle is in the shape of an equal sign to represent equality among everyone. I tie dyed fabric with ink, then painted on the silhouettes and quote.

Freedom

By Haley W.,

My Artwork is about the freedom a horse gives a person. I ride horses and I could be having the worst day and feeling down, but when I get on my horse and ride I feel free of all my problems.

Horses also give freedom to many disabled people that maybe cannot walk by themselves but can ride a horse and that gives them the power of freedom. I painted the cloth grey first, then I added the horse and quote. For the quote and letters I used all black, except the word freedom so that it would show importance. white cloth, black & white acrylic paint
