Building Equality

By Kindra A.

I picked this theme of equality because it affects everyone, whether you are one or ninety-one. A normal boy of this age should be at home playing with their blocks, trucks, and other toys, but instead the one is a child laborer, not living a normal life at all.

I used palette paper and acrylic paint for the words, iron-ons for the children, and fabric that I lightly dyed.

Reaching For Equality

My artwork is about different people reaching for equality. Dye, fabric, glue

Together

By Desiree E.

I picked this theme because I believe that there should be equality among different races. As my psychology teacher says, there's only one race: human. I agree completely and it bothers me that racism is still a problem to this day. I used fabric that I dyed myself, and acrylic paint.
