PHILADELPHIA, PA - After reading and discussing the book "Tar Beach" by Faith Ringgold, students created a version of their very own night sky through the art process of collage.
Students discussed the importance of Faith Ringgold as well as various objects that we may discover when looking at the skyline of a city.
Vocabulary words included skyscrapers, street lights, traffic lights, collage, pattern, and astronomy.
