Scott Oksas looks downtrack as he brings his son , Joey , into the beams for a test pass at the Street Car Super Nationals in Las Vegas . Driving the same twin-turbocharged ‘ 67 Mustang that Scott drove to a $ 100,000 victory at the 2019 Drag Illustrated World Series of Pro Mod , Joey went on to post a stunning 5.59 at 265.01 MPH to qualify No . 2 in the Pro Mod field . The elder Oksas planned to drive the car in Vegas , but after Joey wheeled the Jeff Pierce-tuned Mustang to a second-place finish in the eighth-mile Mid-West Drag Racing Series Pro Mod championship , the 23-year-old was given the chance to leg it out at the quarter-mile event .
