Edgewater, Florida’s James Thompson celebrates in style, roasting the Mickey Thompson
slicks on his ‘72 Malibu in the World Doorslammer Nationals winner’s circle after
taking runner-up honors in the Pro ET class. It was Thompson’s latest accomplishment
at Orlando, where he also won the 2019 Sportsman track championship. He’s known
throughout the Southeast for lighting up win lights and parking in winner’s circle at
bracket races from Palm Beach to South Georgia and points in between.
