Rodney Gomes is hooked up and rollin’ out in his show-stopping ‘70 Dodge Super Bee,
which the Canadian driver fielded in 6.0 Index and Open Comp at Lights Out 11. Gomes
made his on-track debut with the car after building it from a rotted-out street car that he
bought from his late father when he was 15. The Super Bee sports an methanol-injected
542ci Mopar engine capable of making eighth-mile passes deep into the 5-second range.
Gomes turned on a couple win lights in 6.0 Index before breaking out with a 5.978.
