Ohio’s own John “The Hitman” DeCerbo rides the wheelie bars in his Tim McAmis-built ‘68 Camaro as the sun
sets on a Friday qualifying session at the PDRA Northern Nationals. DeCerbo, who’s raced in PDRA Pro Nitrous
since the series’ inception in 2014, is taking on a new role with the all-eighth-mile organization this year: event
sponsor. His DeCerbo Construction business is the title sponsor of the PDRA American Doorslammer Challenge
presented by Callies Performance at Summit Motorsports Park later this summer. The past Shakedown winner
will, of course, field his Reher-Morrison 959ci-powered Camaro in hopes of getting a hometrack win.
