Severe tire shake off the starting line sends Josh Hart’s Advance Auto
Parts A/Fuel Dragster into tire smoke, shaking loose body panels and the
belly pan in the process. Fortunately, Hart was qualified solidly in the field
going into this third and final Top Alcohol Dragster qualifying session at
the NHRA Gatornationals after posting a 5.304 at 275 mph in the opening
session. Hart, a two-time U.S. Nationals event champion, kicked off his
2019 season with a win at the “Baby Gators” divisional race at Gainesville
and earned his Top Fuel license with Bob Vandergriff Racing. The Ocala,
Florida, resident plans to make his Top Fuel debut later this season, running
a limited schedule in addition to his loaded Top Alcohol Dragster campaign.
