Colorado’s own Bob Cornine races down the Bandimere Speedway
quarter mile in his 2004 Dodge Stratus Top Sportsman car to wrap up
qualifying at the second annual Drag Illustrated World Series of Pro Mod
presented by J&A Service and benefiting One Cure. Cornine’s nitrous-
assisted machine runs in the mid-7-second range at nearly 190 mph when
racing on “Thunder Mountain” and dips well into the 6-second zone when
racing at NHRA national events and divisional races throughout the West.
