TERBOX THE GUARDIAN While it looks like Rex Stevens is laying down the most glorious burnout of all time, he’s actually annihilating the slicks on a old-school, no-burnout pass during Mo-Kan Dragway’s American Hot Rod Reunion. Riding on a Crown custom chassis, the “Guardian” front-engine dragster features a unique body from the “Lick’m ‘n’ Stick’m” dragster campaigned by Norm Ries in the early 1960s. Today, Stevens fields the one-of-a-kind ride with a 500ci Brad Anderson Hemi topped by a R&P 6-71 supercharger and running on a healthy dose of nitromethane.
