new 480ci Chevy-powered ‘69 Camaro in advance of a second-round U.S. Street Nationals
pairing with “Big Daddy” DeWayne Mills in the “Golden Gorilla” ‘68 Camaro. Both drivers had
to pedal their twin-turbocharged entries shortly after leaving the starting line with identical
.070-second reaction times, leading to an incredible side-by-side pedalfest that ended with
Mills’ 5.698 at 177.93 mph leading Agostino’s 5.711 at 141.57 through the eighth-mile clocks.
