Funny Car standout Ron Capps leaves the starting line during preseason

Much has changed since that test session, from track prep to Capps and his
Rahn Tobler-tuned team going back to the 5-disc clutch system, but the
2016 world champion continues to perform at an elite level. Capps picked
up his 60th career Funny Car win - and 61st overall win - at the recent NHRA
Carolina Nationals at zMAX Dragway, jumping back into the title conversation
after a slow start in the Countdown to the Championship. Capps and his DSR
team also continue to be a model of consistency in the talent-filled class.
