No. JOHN FORCE RACING’S NEXT GENERATION DRIVERS
10 DELIVERING THE GOODS
T
he future is bright for John
Force Racing and the JFR brand ap-
pears to be as secure and as healthy as
Force could have ever hoped for, espe-
cially as he nears 70 years of age.
Brittany Force just won the Top
Fuel title a year ago, JFR’s first-ever world
championship in Top Fuel, also becoming the
first next-generation Force to win a world title.
But that only seemed to be a precursor for what
has already been a big 2018 for JFR, not only
for the here and now, but for the future as well.
September 2018
Brittany remains a championship threat in
Top Fuel, but Courtney is kicking ass and taking
names in Funny Car. With the addition of three-
time Top Fuel world championship-winning
crew chief Brian Corradi to the Advance Auto
Parts team, the youngest Force has thrived this
season. In every aspect, from her driving to her
confidence to her motivation, Courtney has
been on another level in 2018, winning four
races in the first half of the year and holding a
commanding points lead.
Future third-generation driver Austin Prock,
son of famed tuner Jimmy Prock, earned his
Funny Car license in June, adding another
potential star to the JFR stable. There are no
definitive next steps yet for Prock, but at just
20 years old, he’s already made major inroads
on his burgeoning career. He earned his Top
Alcohol Funny Car license a year ago, took the
next step this season with his big-show Funny
Car license and has been learning at an in-
credible rate.
Without question, there are bright futures
ahead for the young stars at JFR. - JOSH HACHAT
