Inaugural PDRA Pro Nitrous world champion Jason Harris roars out of the puddle
in his Pat Musi Racing Engines-powered Boone Harris Racing ‘69 Camaro during
a late-night qualifying session at the PDRA Mid-America Indy Showdown, the all-
eighth-mile series’ first trip to the “racing capital of the world.” Harris and team
made use of the bonus points offered to PDRA pro entries with nicknames by
paying tribute to North Carolina racing legend Harold Denton, who campaigned
a “Party Time” entry during the early days of mountain motor Pro Stock racing.
