Bobby Partin began drag racing back in 1991
after buying this cool 1975 Chevy Nova out of
a corn field for a mere $100. Partin has won
more races than he can remember in the Nova
at southeastern tracks that include Greer, Sha-
dyside, English Mountain and Ware Shoals.
VARIED SKILL SET
While casual fans of the
sport recognize Drew
Skillman as a standout Pro
Stock driver, he’s still an ac-
tive participant in the Stock
and Super Stock classes
where he cut his teeth.
