MOVERS & SHAKERS
GOOD TIMES
NHRA Pro Mod pilot Clint Satterfield shares a laugh with
crew chief and friend Bob Gardner in the staging lanes
at Gainesville Raceway during the NHRA Gatornationals.
RAMBLIN’ MAN
Mike Anderson enjoys racing his 2001 Rick Jones-built Cavalier at
Kinston Drag Strip’s Winterfest, an event held each January at the
eastern North Carolina facility. Mike admittedly loves the racing travel,
although he rarely gets to do it. “I’m stuck at home most of the time!”
he says. Anderson is not only a full-time funeral director, he also owns
and operates the popular Sumerduck Dragway in Sumerduck, Virginia.

MAN OF MANY WORDS
Bangshift.com co-creator Brian Lohnes took advantage of a weekend off from his
gig as one of the NHRA’s primary national-event announcers to call the action at
Tyler Crossnoe’s Outlaw Street Car Reunion IV at Memphis. Lohnes’ humor and
knowledge of the sport have helped him become one of the most in-demand an-
nouncers in drag racing.
