TIME COMING
Emotions ran high in the winner’s circle at Royal Purple Raceway
following the conclusion of the NHRA Spring Nationals when
Steve Matusek scored his first career NHRA Pro Mod victory
behind the wheel of the of the Aeromotive Fuel Systems-
sponsored Chevy Camaro fielded by Danny Rowe Racing and
tuned by blown alcohol racing legend Jimmy Rector. Clearly,
Rowe, a longtime friend of Matusek’s and a fellow driver in the
hyper-competitive J&A Service NHRA Pro Mod eliminator, was
every bit as excited as his teammate following the big win.
