Bryan Hall of Sacramento, California, has made a recent splash in the AA/Fuel Altered ranks on the
West Coast with his newly completed nitro-burner branded “The Tramp”. After a debut at this year’s
March Meet, Hall and company attended several match races over the summer before returning to
Bakersfield for the 25th California Hot Rod Reunion. In round one competition, however, Hall posted
a career-best 6.23-second, 228mph pass, but as soon as the parachutes blossomed the force ripped
the trunk and parachute system completely off the back of the car sending the front wheels in the
air and Hall blasting through the shutdown with only the aid of a brake handle. Incredibly, Hall was
able to bring the car to a safe stop just a few feet into the sand trap.
