UNDER THE
SHADE TREE
Nosed up under a tree to provide a little refuge from the sun, a racer sets the battery in the
trunk of his Chevy Nova foot brake car to charging in between time trials of a local points
meet in the tranquil grass-and-gravel pits of 710 Dragway. The facility was nicely updated
recently, and now provides lots of modern features to go along with the small town charm.
