Cheerleading
Ages 5 –13
Learn real cheers, along with fundamentals
and new techniques, from Maine West HS
Varsity cheerleaders. Whether it’s a High V,
Hands-on-Hips, or a fabulous jump, the
right moves create an exciting cheer that
really pumps up the crowd. Jump drills
will help you develop arms, legs, abs and
lots of stamina. You’ll practice technique,
dance and motions, plus how to use your
voice properly to get those fans rockin’
for the team. Every week you’ll learn arm
positions, transitions, and basic formations;
cartwheels and round-offs are taught,
and everything is incorporated into great
looking, great sounding cheers.
Parents and friends are invited to a special
performance on the last day of class, so
you can show off your new cheerleading
skills! jc
