The park district Youth Juniors Soccer
League relies on volunteer coaches
for team in grades 2– 4.
We value the time and commitment
that you provide for our program and
community. As a volunteer coach, we will
provide you with tools to help you feel
comfortable coaching whether you’re a
first time coach or a coach with some prior
experience.
A few more reasons for becoming

• Free CPR/AED class. Valid for 2 years.
• Online resources, for drills and games.
• Concussion Course Certification.

Boys and Girls Ages 7–14
A year round program that competes
in the Northern Illinois Soccer League,
indoor league and various tournaments.
This club emphasizes player and team
development through high quality coaching.
Our training sessions are carefully designed
with an emphasis on soccer fundamentals
conveyed with clarity.
We are dedicated to providing our
participants with a fun, high-quality soccer
experience that encourages sportsmanship
and the love of the game through the
development of player skills, coach
mentorship, and team mentality.

Ages 7–12
10-week season.
Register as a team and compete
against teams from Des Plaines
and surrounding communities,
in this indoor soccer arena.
Regular season will be weeks 1– 8.
Weeks 9 and 10, will be playoffs for all
divisions.
All matches will be directed by a certified
referee.
Teams will receive a complimentary
league shirt at the start of the season.
All teams must have matching uniforms
with numbers. Gym shoes or turf shoes
only, during play.
U8 & U9 divisions will play 5v5, and can
have a max of 10 players on their roster.
U10 – U13 divisions will play 7v7, and can
have a max of 14 players on their roster.
Team trophies will be awarded to 1st and
2nd place winners in each division.
