Editor’s Letter
Dear Ladies,
It’s September! And it is
now three years since DOZ
Magazine was re-launched.
What an exciting journey
it has been thus far. Out of
DOZ Magazine has come
DOZ Show, DOZ Radio, DOZ
Chronicles, DOZ Devotional,
DOZ Live, and DOZ Unleashed.
Wow! God is amazing!
I am so excited about all the
things that are happening
within DOZ Network. At
the end of August, we re-
launched DOZ Unleashed.
DOZ Unleashed is a 90-minute
online meeting for women.
It is designed to help women
discover purpose, release
pain, share stories, and
celebrate victories. It is also
intended for mentorship,
and direction and raising
women to become leaders
in the area of their calling
and assignment by providing
them with the resource to
help them on the journey
and inspiring them with
stories of other women and
what they have achieved.
And above all, it is about
giving women a safe place
to share their struggles and
receive guidance; share their
victories and be celebrated.
I believe that every woman
has a place. We were all born
for a purpose higher than
being wives and mothers.
We are here because there
are mindsets to transform,
traditions, and stereotypes to
challenge, women and men
to liberate. It is time that we
acknowledge our purpose,
walk in our calling, and fulfil
your destiny. DOZ Unleashed
has been re-launched to
help achieve this. To take
advantage of this platform,

unleashed/ for more details.
You are reading DOZ Issue
47, September 2019, and as
always you will find the stories
and interviews inspiring. Our
DOZ That Inspire You, for this
issue is, Dr. Yolanda Jerry. She
is a retired Air Force veteran,
speaker, author, coach, and
entrepreneur. She coaches
inspires and empowers
victims/survivors of domestic
violence, sexual assault, and
3
youth bullying. She is founder
and CEO of YJ Empowerment
Solutions, LLC. Yolanda shares
her journey of going from
sexual assault and domestic
abuse victim to strong
survivor and advocate who
is helping other women. She
has turned her pain into her
purpose. She was one of the
speakers at the maiden edition
of DOZ Live Inspirational
Conference held in April 2019.
She has a beautiful story, and I
love her and what she does.
Our DOZ Show Preferred
Guest is Sarah Wonders. She
is a UK based gospel singer/
songwriter and praise and
worship leader. She is the
composer of ‘Champions
Anthem’ an inspirational song
that encourages Christians
and reminds them that they
can do anything because
they’re filled with the Holy
Ghost. She sang this inspiring
song twice at DOZ Live April
2019, and we could not get
enough of it. She is excellent
at what she does. I absolutely
love her, and what she stands
for, and I feel very honoured
to be connected to her.
“DOZ Chronicles: Ruki”
continues in this issue. Ruki’s
life has changed for the better.
Will it last? Enjoy finding out.
See you in October.
Blessings!
