But the real spectacle is the rocky beaches whether it is rocks with deep sea or stretches of white pebbles: do not miss the Kamenjak Park near Pula, favorite destination for divers, the Dugi Otok Stene, Rovinj and then the spectacular stones of Dubrovnik, the Makarska Riviera and the shingle of the island of Brac. Visit one of its national parks: Croatia’s national parks are the perfect place to reconnect with nature and explore some hidden natural gems like waterfalls, unique scenarios and relax. Explore the historical cities: In Croatia there are 7 UNESCO protected sites that document the rich and turbulent past of this region, between Roman and Byzantine conquests and a lively artistic Renaissance.
