LETTER
Dear Ladies,
Happy New Year!
Ready or not, 2019 is here! Are you as excited as I am? As much as this is a season of merrymaking and
rejoicing for having entered a new year, it is also a time of reflection for what a new year means and how we
can make the most of it. A new year is a fresh start, another chance to get it right, a unique opportunity if you
like. So, one thing you want to do is correct the wrongs of the previous years to date by doing things differently.
I am sure you already know that doing things the same way leads to having the same results. To do things
differently, you must become a different person by learning new things and changing some of the beliefs that
have not served you thus far. Ladies, it’s time to embark on a purpose journey and not just to discover who we
are and why we were put on the earth but to also discover what we ought to be doing in 2019. But of course, if
you haven’t found your reason for being yet, that’s where you want to start. When we find our purpose for living
and especially, being alive in 2019, then we must begin to develop ourselves along that line, so we can bring
excellence to all that we do. This is going to be so much fun, Ladies. Do let me know how you get on, will you?
You are reading DOZ Issue 39, January 2019, and the stories will intrigue you. Our DOZ That Inspire You, for
this issue is, Omo Bello. She is one of my favourite women in the world and she shares her inspiring journey of
going from a degree in Cell Biology and Genetics to the Conservatoire de Paris and performing in over twenty
countries. I am confident that her story will encourage you in your journey to find or fulfil purpose.
“DOZ Chronicles: Ruki” continues in this issue. Some Ladies have given me feedback, and I am pleased to learn
that the story is as entertaining as I hoped it would be.
