When the time for change comes , like it or not you must make some tough decisions ; one of such will be to change the company you keep . Yes , in a bid to move forward , you will need to come out of the wrong company . As difficult as it is , you must make this decision to see progress . There are people whose presence in your life will not allow you see clearly and there are people who , if they remain a part of your inner circle , will not allow you make any progress . Recently , I learnt that if you put two crabs in a basket , you don ’ t need to put a lid on the basket because one crab will not allow the other climb out of the basket , it will reach out and pull it right back in . Don ’ t you know people like that , who don ’ t want to make any progress but won ’ t allow you to either ? Every time you try to advance , they just reach out and pull you back to the present level . Abraham was what you and I would refer to as a failure ; at 75 years of age , he was broke and still living in his father ’ s house . Then his time for change came , and God specifically asked him to come out ; out of his country , his people and his father ’ s house . Abraham obeyed partially ; he came out of his country but took his people and father ’ s house with him in the person
