orset is a county that gets its round
in. As well as make great coffee,
tea and cocktails full of local spirit.
For the first drink of the day, the
county is blessed with coffee roasters
and tea merchants who source fairly
overseas and use their expertise
to bring beans and leaves fresh to
baristas and teapots to make authentic,
heavenly beverages.
For a lunchtime pint or two, Dorset
has brewers who are too passionate
about their beer and cider to do anything
other than carefully craft it. They have
devoted drinkers and the awards to
show for it.
The county’s sunshine helps our
vineyards produce English wine that
is world-class. But the most recent
additions to the best bars have come
from producers who are distilling
spirits, often incorporating locally
foraged flavours. In the hands of
talented bartenders, like all of our
member’s drinks in fact, these are a
true taste of Dorset.
