W
herever you are in Dorset,
you’re never too far from
the sea. Which means you’re also
never far from some of the freshest
seafood in the country. Often landed
or harvested so close to where it’s
sold, any fresher and it would still be
swimming.
Of course, restaurants, cafés and fish
and chip shops take their share. But
our members will help you source the
same outstanding seafood as top chefs
which has often come straight from
local fishermen working that stunning
coastline.
Perhaps more than any other
food, buying fish sustainably and in
season is vitally important if we are
to preserve this natural resource for
future generations. Always check the
Marine Conservation Society’s advice
on which fish species to eat.
