My album release concert for my debut album Trillmatic. there were only 3 acts, including myself, but the building was packed! My mom and my dad both came, being the 1st time either of them came to a show and the 1st time i've seen them in the same room in years. My younger cousin Cameron came home from college to see me for the 1st time also. So many homies from different places I've lived, who had previously never met each other, came together for me! Local artist i respect, promoters, TV shows ect. Strangers I had not previously met, or didnt recall meeting at least. To have a building packed full of people rapping with me, word for word & my parents to be there to see it, was hands down, my favorite moment thus far.

What are you working on currently, and what are some of your upcoming projects?

I'm currently working on my sophomore album, which i haven't named as of yet. The reception of my debut album was great overall. I told my life story on that album. I call it my 'Audio-Biography'. It was a hard album because of the hard life I lived resulting in the hard stories I told. With this second album, I'm more focused on the artistry, experimenting with new sounds and opening up more. I've acquired new production resources and I've gotten more comfortable about letting my guard down on a track. I'm speaking on a lot of points I see most rappers run from. I insist on creating my own lane. And of course, i have my signature bangers my core fan base have come to expect & love from me.

What's 5 things your fans don't know about you?

1. I'm not angry all of the time. I get a lot of shit off of my chest through music and it has become therapeutic.

2. I'm 6'5" & a half ... I'm not a little dude, never have been. I hit 6ft in middle school but i was in too much trouble to ever tryout for the ball team.

3. I get along fine with my parents today. The situations I addressed on Trillmatic referencing them are old.

4. Despite being uneducated, I am highly intellectual and insightful. Some things school cant teach.

5. I don't rap over samples for legal reasons, not because I can't.

What makes you more unique than other artists?

People tend to hear my singles and deem me a 'Trap Rapper'. Reality is, I am one of the most diverse artist out. I do have a thing for 808s and I've lived 'that life', so I feel I have the right to speak on it, but I also talk about real social issues and address them in a way that those who aren't 'conscious' can understand it. Reality is, people who listen to conscious hip hop already have opinions about whatever social issue you address, so you're 'preaching to the choir'. What I do is reach a more rugged crowd and enlighten them on things ... reaching the people who need it most.
