Without the soulstone microchip , the personalities of re-animated clones are shaped by the circumstances experienced , in the life of the re-animated clones , as well as , the environments experienced , in the life of re-animated clones . Although re-animated clones develop a personality of their own without the soulstone microchip , re-animated clones without the soulstone microchip tend to be dumber than original natural born human beings , because essentially clones are dumber , and this is just a side effect of human cloning .
