Thinking back about the World Agility Open . Which was one of the most beautiful moments at the WAO 2012 ?
There were many memorable moments during the championships . Standing on the podium and hearing the national anthem is always special and to do that three times last year was a great achievement .
It is always a pleasure to see handlers and dogs achieve success however small – to overcome nerves ; to bounce back after a bad run and achieve great places . The atmosphere within the England team is what makes the whole experience enjoyable and makes me want to come back for more !
What do you think of the 2012 event : about the organization , hospitality , atmosphere ...
As in 2011 , the organisation was fantastic . I know in Belgium , they had to overcome some issues with volunteers letting them down , so they were short on man power . But that is what is great about agility competitors – everyone pitched in and still made the championships a success .
What advice would give to someone participating in their first competition ?
Enjoy the experience ! You never know , this could be your one chance to represent your country , so make the most of it .
