Lighting standards are also provided for almost every zoning district . Common language among lighting provisions for each zoning district is :

Pursuant to Code Sections 708.16 ( Community Retail Commercial ), 708.17 ( Regional Retail Commercial ), and 712.09 ( Commercial Corridor Design Overlay District ), regulations for outdoor lighting state :

Such lighting shall not blink , flash , oscillate , or be of unusually high brightness . The Design and Development Guidelines for the Commercial Corridor Design Overlay District state :

The Streetscape Design Standards in the Comm Overlay District state :
Pedestrian lighting fixtures are required main commercial corridor within the la zone . The Zoning Ordinance includes a Sign Ordinance including those with lighting . Section 714.06 , p signs , or signs using varying light intensity in all signs are not to constitute a traffic hazard :
