How long have you guys been together?
8 Foot Sativa have been playing since 1998
What was the creative spark that pushed you to form the band?
Brent & Gary were at school together and decided let’s not just listen to metal, let’s get a band
together and make metal, we started doing covers and things just evolved from there.
How often are you guys able to get together and practice?
Minimum once a week but essentially as often as we can.
Where do you guys practice at?
We have a band room set up in a railway container in Auckland,
What got you into music, and what are your influences?
Music has always been a big part of our lives, bands like Iron Maiden, Testament, Megadeth,
Sepultura it is all infectious and we were infected at an early age.
