In terms of style I would describe it as a mix of death and thrash. Expect some fierce, thrashy riffage, alternated with slower/heavy passages, melodic leads, a lot of double bass drums and ferocious vocals.
Since the beginning (1996) we’ve had a grunting female on vocals. For us it’s pretty normal, new
listeners could consider us a copy of Arch Enemy. We’re simply not, we started with female
grunts way before Angela came to Arch Enemy. Furthermore, our music is not that polished and
tends to lean more towards the thrashy and death-side of the metal-spectrum.
How long have you guys been together ?
Jeroen: I’m the founding member and started the band way back in 1996. We had several line-up
changes, I wont bore your readers with an endless list of names, haha. We’ve always been a modest, on an amateur-level operatin band till a few years ago. Things actually really started rolling
in 2011 with the last line-up change and the signing of our deal with Listenable Records. Things
sky-rocketed after that. I always tend to see that period as a turningpoint for the band.
