Final thing to share this month is "The Chemical Generation". It's a channel 4 (in the UK) 2001 documentary on the acid house generation and rave culture. other. It's a big fully featured beast. Worth a look for those wanting lots of modulation.
4ms have sparked some speculation with a teaser picture of part of a panel pictured on their Instagram page. While there's no official information from them there's plenty of speculation on THIS Muff Wiggler thread. There's talk of previous mentioned wavetable oscillator firmware for the SMR (which the ring of holes in the panel would hint towards). There's currently no sound source in the 4ms line up so I'd certainly welcome an oscillator!
TipTop Audio are on the "teaser train" again after the release of ONE their 4HP sample player with their new module FOLD. Fairly obvious what that is right off the bat but it's a wavefolder! There's a video with a saw wave as the input that's got reverb over it (not a great way to get a raw demo, but good for the teaser I guess) and also a video with a sine wave that's clearer (but again reverb added). Maybe it's harsh to judge the FX as they're not technical demos or overviews but part of the promo / teaser run before it's released.
