Can you briefly tell us about your
professional background?
BRANDES: I was in the US Army
from 1996 – 2007 then worked in the
family lumber business.
What inspired you to run for office?
BRANDES: I was inspired to run as
a way to continue my desire to give
back, as well as my love for public
policy.
What is your favorite travel
location?
BRANDES: Any cruise ship,
anywhere in the world.
