Can you briefly tell us about your
professional background?
YOUNG: I am a land use and
environmental attorney.
What inspired you to run for office?
YOUNG: I love my community and I
was in a position in my professional
life where I could give back by
serving in the legislature. It is a
tremendous honor!
What is the secret to your success?
YOUNG: Hard work and never
accepting no for an answer.
What is the one thing about you no
one would guess?
YOUNG: I am a 6th generation
Floridian whose family on both sides
originated in Cedar Key, FL.

background?
YOUNG: FSU graduate (1985) and
UVA law school (1993).
What is your favorite travel
location?
YOUNG: Boca Grande, FL.
