President Jordan Lee,

continue to have allies
here in Florida.
NUCA of Florida
members- fall is upon
us! On the note of allies,
I’d like to challenge
you to do as much
work as you can with
fellow contractor and
associate members. If
there’s someone you
do business with, and
they sponsor an event,
make it a point to say
thanks for helping out
the association. If you’re
able to give them a
better chance at getting
your work, let them
know-hey, since you’re
a member were making
it a point to do work with
you over your competitor
who isn’t a member. At
the same time, if you
have someone you’re
working with a lot and
they aren’t a member,
find out why. Chances
are, we can help them
benefit in a multitude of
ways.
I hope that everyone has
had a great summer!
I hope business has
been great, and that
everyone has their fill of
work for the upcoming
quarter. I would like to
thank everyone who has
been involved with all
the things going on with
NUCA of Florida. The
Presidents Cup is coming
up September 20 and 21,
I hope to see everyone
at the board meeting
and the tournament!
Behind that will be the
ASJ bass tournament, as
I’ve said in the past, its
always a great time, and
I’m looking forward to
the new venue. Election
season is upon us,
thank you to everyone
who has donated to the
Political Fund, we had a
very successful primary
regarding the people we
promoted, but we still
have work to do. Please
join in on the Bidding for
Benjamins, or donate to
In closing Id like to say
we’d be hard pressed
to find a better group of
people than this group.
From our contractor
members to our
associate members, to
our management and
lobbying company, we
make an awesome team.
Thank y’all so much for
everything you do, and
please, continue doing
what you’re doing to
make NUCA of Florida
great, and continue
being the powerhouse it
is.
I’ll be looking forward to
seeing you at the board
meeting ( we have a lot to
discuss), Presidents Cup,
and don’t forget about
the bass tournament-
its what funds the
Scholarship!
Last thing, if you aren’t
already, get involved
on an event at the local
level. You’d be amazed
how good it feels to
have an amazing event
when you have a little
skin in the game. And on
that, at your next event-
invite someone who isn’t
a member to be your
guest at that event. I bet
they will have a blast at
what ever it is, and you
may just end up getting
a new member!
