Breakwater is part of the Cape Henlopen State Park, a coastal preserve
on an old military base. The trail offers beautiful views of wetlands and
wildlife, and a railway bridge built in 1913 makes this trail particularly
interesting. The trail can be biked or walked, and strollers are welcome.

without a quick trip to the boardwalk! Funland has an classic boardwalk
vibe with amusements for all ages. Small shops sell everything from
handcrafted woodwork to charming souvenirs. Pick up some authentic
boardwalk food like vinegar-drenched fries from Thrasher’s or a slice of
pepperoni from Louie’s Pizza. Finish off the night with some sweets Dolle’s Candyland has some of the best saltwater taffy 0n the East Coast
and has been a mainstay on the Rehoboth boardwalk since 1927.
Hop on a cruise and
keep an eye out for everyone’s favorite marine mammals. Said to be one
of the best opportunities for dolphin- and whale-spotting in the region,
Fisherman’s Wharf offers guided boat tours, complete with expert
guides to help you spot every animal. Tickets can be bought ahead of
time to secure your seat on this popular cruise. Anyone looking for a
relaxing, fun few hours on the water will be sure to enjoy themselves!
Blue Moon Restaurant is one of Rehoboth’s best
dining options. Housed in a restored Victorian home with charming
yellow-and-blue siding, this café serves upscale American fare with heart.
Live entertainment features fun throwbacks and powerhouse vocals to
make the experience even more enjoyable. DHM’s top pick for a guilty
pleasure? The fried green tomatoes, of course.
