Extreme Robotics: Battlebots
Get ready to take ultimate control with NXT
LEGO® robotics projects! Using the NXT
Intelligent Brick from LEGO®, servo motors,
advanced ultrasonic, touch and light
sensors, and specialized LEGO® Technic
engineering components, we will build
extreme robots and overcome challenges.
Working in small teams, students will
control the robots with NXT programs.
Students will then be challenged to morph
their projects into better, stronger or faster
robots by experimenting and modifying
the programs. Possible competitive robots
include tug-o-war bots, hammer-bot, a
claw-striker, and sumo-bot. Please bring a
drink and snack daily. Computer Explorers

Come and create the most delicious (and

to keep your Shopkins collection in! Grab

Learn to Sing
Ever wondered how trained professional
singers first learned their art? We will
discover how we can use our voices to
make beautiful music. Learn the proper
techniques for basic singing, stance, breath
support, vowels, range and vocal exercises.
We will also explore different types of
choirs, keyboard instruments, operas,
