Roots and Sprouts: An Intergenerational Garden Join us for this free drop-in informal class in growing and harvesting your own food and flowers. Roots and Sprouts is an intergenerational garden opportunity for young and not so young, experienced and inexperienced gardeners to come together to plant, weed, harvest, eat, and learn. Each week will highlight a seasonal veggie and activity. When it comes time to harvest, each participant will go home with treats from our community efforts! Register to ensure your spot! Students will develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, learn to keep themselves and others safe and help children behave, and learn about basic child care and basic first aid.
