There have been some perfectly awesome trousers, shirts and coats on the catwalks at the men's London collections . But there is also a wealth of envelope pushing if slightly head scratching new stuff that designers are tempting us with. The new items and ideas that you might not really have considered before but that you might possibly be wearing next summer. Here we round up 10 things we've seen at the menswear shows that could be the next thing you consider adding to your wardrobe. Approach with an open mind.

You’ve been on board with printed shirts, tees and, occasionally, shorts for ages now so here’s the next step. A printed suit. Agi and Sam is one of the most exciting young brands coming out of London fashion right now so if they’re saying printed suit, it’s probably going to happen. It's pretty muggy today so I'm betting that those of you stuck in office attire would quite appreciate these as an immediate option. The classic suit is a tricky concept to make new and this is Sarah Burton at McQueen's clever interpretation. Whether bare legs in the office will ever be OK is another matter entirely...
