Discovery Place Education Studio is a professional
development program serving Pre K - 12 educators, including
parents who homeschool. Experience a fun-filled and
immersive training course designed to enhance your teaching
ability and broaden your depth of science knowledge.
Uniquely located adjacent to Discovery Place in uptown
Charlotte, the Education Studio provides ongoing and
personalized opportunities for educator development in
science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) with a goal
of advancing student and teacher attitudes and achievements.
Courses start at only $20 and include topics such as:
WestEd Electric Circuits Workshop
3D Printing Workshops
Classroom Gardening
Geocaching in the Mountains
