FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK
Greetings everyone,
Wow! That is all I can say about our Wow Event that took place on October 21. It was an outstanding event. It was well attended, we had great vendors, the food was good, the entertainment was fantastic, and the speakers were awesome! All I can say was that God showed up and showed out. He did exceedingly and abundantly more than what I imagined. When I think back on the event, I am still in awe. I am anticipating more of the same amazement in the future. I am excited about the future and all that God has in stored for the ministry and my personal life; my soul is leaping for joy! When you have experienced such a victory, how can you feel anything less? A feeling of anticipation and victory is what I want all of you to experience as well.
In this issue, you will see many exciting pictures from the event, if you missed it, you missed a treat. I hope that everyone who was in attendance is reading this greeting because they subscribed to this magazine. You will be so elated to see pictures of yourself and the exceeding excitement you experienced. If I were you, I would contact all my friends, family and acquaintances who could not attend the event and tell them to buy this issue. They will be glad they did, but not only for the pictures, but also for the great articles that we will be featuring this month. Of course, many of the articles will commemorate the holiday season and check out the wonderful recipes for Thanksgiving. Enjoy the writing of our regular featured contributors as well; you will be blessed.
The end of the year is approaching quickly, and I want to encourage all of you to get ready for your blessings. Ask God to bless you indeed, and enlarge your territory. You want His hand to be upon your life and keep you from any harm or danger, and you want to do everything in your power not to hurt or bring harm to anyone else (1 Chronicle 4:10). Be diligent in your prayer life and always acknowledge Him daily; the first thing in the morning would be the best time. Let every area of your life glorify Him and when it does not, be quick to get it right through repentance. Acknowledge your weaknesses, be willing to accept correction when and where needed, be a giver and accept receiving from others with the right motive. Follow these spiritual suggestions and I believe that you will be well on your way to living your best life now.
God has blessed all of us with gifts, talents, abilities and interests to keep this world interesting and everyone in it, fulfilled. Find out where your place is in His creation and what role you play to bring His vision for the world to fruition. We all have a place and He desires to use every one of us to fulfill it. Discovering You Magazine is a tool that I believe God wants to use to accomplish this goal. I sincerely hope that all our readers will glean from the knowledge and inspiration obtained from each article. I pray that each of you will apply it to your lives. As I always state to all of you, our contributors do this from the heart. They do it because they get to, and they want to impart something wonderful into your lives.
