I have been doing research since I was dealing with kidney problems and found out that my skin was called the “third kidney”. It is referred to as the third kidney because its function is to rid the body of excess moisture and toxins. When the toxins couldn’t come out one way, they showed up on my skin. I tried to go “vegan”, vegetarian, to improve the appearance of my skin.

I learned that fasting helps purge the body of toxins. Also, herbal cleansers eliminate toxins from the skin as well. Not only the skin but detoxing the liver, kidney, colon, lymph and skin helps the body function better by lowering blood pressure, cholesterol, digestion, to having clearer skin.

It is not what you put in your body but on your skin. It goes hand and hand. The skin is the largest organ in your body. So natural supplements, creams, lotions, butters help moisture and nurture the skin. Also we need to get healthier by eating foods such as fruits, vegetables, green leafy foods and drinking lots of water.
