Is It a Coincidence or One of God's Wonderful Miracles?

Submitted by Dr. Tunishai Ford

It's not every day that you meet someone that introduces you to someone that you had always admired. I would like to share with you how I had the opportunity to meet my favorite speaker, teacher and author, Myles Munroe. I have been following his ministry for years, but I never had the opportunity to attend one of his conferences. The only time I had ever seen him was on television and I knew that this was one of God's generals. This man was awesome and in every way. He was not only a great speaker, teacher and author, but he was also an accomplished musician. In fact, the first time I saw him, he sang a song while he accompanied himself on the piano. Ever since I saw him on television, I became a follower of his ministry.

As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, I had the opportunity to meet someone that led me to meet Dr. Myles Munroe. Several years ago, I had a wonderful publicist who had gotten me several appearances on TV and one of them was on a TV show she was supposed to be a guest on but was unable to meet that obligation due to another commitment. She, of course, asked me to take her place since she was trying to get me as much exposure as possible anyway. The lady had a half an hour show on a local station, Channel 33 in Highland Park, Michigan; it was a religious show. I met the

lovely host and did the interview. It was a great session. The host and I made a connection. After the interview, I decided to stick around for a minute so that I could further talk with the host and give her more information she requested from me about what I was doing in my ministry.

As we began to converse, we mentioned different ministers we admired, and I happened to mention how much I loved Myles Munroe and his ministry. She looked at me with a surprised look and she said to me with much pride, "I am his sister". I totally missed what she was saying. I thought she was making a reference to being his sister in the lord or something. Then she said it again, "I am his biological sister". I was stunned. It did not dawn on me that the host's name was Deborah Munroe-Bailey. My God, I was in shock and elated. I felt so honored to be in her presence. Of course, she was an extraordinary lady in her own right, but I felt so honored to meet the sister of one of the most esteemed ministers of our generation.
