* How are You (God) going to use my experience in this season in the future as a testimony of Your faithfulness to inspire others? Prepare me now for how You will use me. Prepare those who will be impacted by my story. Study Romans 8:28 for encouragement.
* Show me who I am supposed to be ministering to now. While I am walking in this desert, show me who is on a similar path as mine. Use me to show them Christ’s love. Reflect on Mathew 28:18-20.
When the focus is changed from “Why is this happening?” to “Who will I be helping someday?” spiritual growth happens and you gain a different perspective, II Corinthians 1: 4. In a physical desert, despite the environment, there is still fertilization. I challenge you to use the time you spend in the desert to allow Jesus to spiritually fertilize your foundation. It is never a guarantee that the walk of following Christ will be a painless journey; however, you are promised to have your spiritual Father by your side when you enter any season. It is a mirror reflection on how we grow in Christ by how we pray in even the warmest deserts that we walk.
