"I learned how to start my own business," said Mya Stanley. "Like what important papers I need, how to start it. It's very important because I want to have a hair business and help people who are less fortunate. They may not have the money to pay for prom and to get their hair done."
Isabella C. of Flat Rock, MI.
Isabella's business idea is running a for-profit children's program and day camp, and a billing and accounting service. She joined the program so that the tools and instructions our professionals teach will empower her when she is ready to put her business ideas into position. Isabella expressed her determination and excitement for being a part of the STEP UP Program to us in an interview she did for the Director of the program, Dr. Tunishai Ford.
