Caitlyn S. of Wyandotte, MI.
It’s been my dream since I was little to own a restaurant. I worked in the food business for a little over a year. It was a small locally owned business, so I got to learn all the things that went into it. Over the past few years, I’ve been creating a list of all the things that could be made with Mac-n-Cheese. I haven’t seen a restaurant like it yet. I’m going to continue studying entrepreneurship and trying my hardest to become one, even if it’s not with my idea.
Cooking is More Than a Hobby
with These Future Entrepreneurs
Joshua M. of Detroit, MI.
Joshua has ideas for a few businesses
including opening up a restaurant
because he likes to cook. He writes, "As
far as I could remember, I've seen people
around me struggling to make ends meet
in jobs where they could never grow. I
will try not to ever let that happen to me.
i want to run my own hours and be happy
to talk about my job to others or even be
happy to be there. If there is one thing I
see most at the state competition are
those kids while they may work very hard,
they have all the tools to get there in the
palm of their hands. They don't know the
hunger you have to have to succeed in
this life."
